Digital Learning Centers

The project aimed to improve access to education for children living in rural areas of the frontline Zaporizhzhia region. The initiative's primary goal was to create suitable conditions for remote schooling and informal development for children through a network of specialized centers.

Geography and implementation period

The project was implemented in communities within the Zaporizhzhia region, specifically in the following settlements:

  • Petropil village (Shyrokivska community);
  • Petro-Mykhailivka village, Ternivka village, Dniprovka village (Petro-Mykhailivska community);
  • Novovasylivka village, Solone village (Pavlivska community).
Key results

As part of the project:

  • 6 digital education centers were established;
  • the facilities were equipped with modern furniture, computers and office equipment, stationery, and educational games;
  • facilitators were hired to provide technical support for remote lessons in the morning and conduct non-formal education activities in the afternoon;
  • 500 unique visitors were engaged in the centers' activities.
