Developing Youth Policy in Amalgamated Territorial Communities of Zaporizhzhia Oblast (2019)
The project "Advocacy for the development and approval process of local targeted youth programs in 5 territorial communities of the Zaporizhzhia region" aimed to collaboratively develop recommendations and proposals for local strategic documents with young people. The initiative was focused on engaging youth in decision-making processes and shaping effective youth policy within their communities.

Geography and implementation period
The project was implemented from August to December 2019 in the following communities of the Zaporizhzhia region:
Vesele territorial community;
Velyka Bilozerka rural territorial community;
Berdiansk territorial community;
Bilenke rural territorial community;
Mykhailivka rural territorial community.
Key results
As part of the project implementation:
550 young people were engaged in an online survey to identify their needs;
10 meetings were held in amalgamated territorial communities;
250 young people were involved in the process of developing youth programs;
5 local targeted youth programs were developed for the selected communities.
