The Power of Small Communities: Action in Unity (2023–2024)
The project aimed to support the resilience and capacity of local civil society organizations and volunteer initiatives during wartime. Its primary goal was to strengthen cross-sectoral collaboration at the community level and create conditions for active resident engagement, the development of social initiatives, and the expansion of educational opportunities.

Geography and implementation period
The project was implemented from September 2023 to November 2024. Activities were focused in the village of Biliaivka (Pavlivka community, Zaporizhzhia region).
Key results
As part of the project:
a public space was opened, serving as a platform for educational events, training sessions, and community collaboration;
the "Pavlivka Community Diary" integration event was held, bringing together local government representatives and community members;
a hub was established to support civic engagement and the development of social projects in the village of Biliaivka.
Partners
This initiative was implemented by the NGO "STEP" in coordination with the NGO "YES" and with the support of the NED (National Endowment for Democracy).
