Winter support for affected households (2024–2025)

The project was aimed at supporting vulnerable households in frontline regions. The primary goal of the initiative was to provide people facing difficult life circumstances with the resources necessary to get through the winter safely. The project’s target audience included individuals with group I and II disabilities, people with limited mobility, and seniors over the age of 60 living alone.

Geography and implementation period

The project was implemented from March 2024 to February 2025. The geography covered communities in two regions:

Zaporizhzhia region:

  • Petro-Mykhailivka territorial community;
  • Novooleksandrivka territorial community;
  • Ternuvate territorial community.

Donetsk region:

  • Novodonetske territorial community;
  • Druzhkivka territorial community.
Key results

As part of the project implementation:

  • assistance was provided to 484 households in the form of solid fuel (7.51 cubic meters of chopped firewood per family);
  • vulnerable population groups were supported through the heating season.
